The Forms Printer 2480 is a narrow format (9-pin) dot matrix printer supporting parallel and USB connectivity for superior data downloading speeds. You can even automatically switch between either interface or turn your printer into an IBM-host workstation with optional Twinax and coax adapters. Even switch to an optional serial interface if need be. With superior Windows network operating system support, the 2480 handles relatively any data downloaded to print.

With a 96KB receive buffer and 64KB download enabled memory, there is plenty of print storage capacity.The Automatic Sheet Feeder gives you the ability to automatically feed cut sheets. The Tractor 2/ Dual Tractor Option provides a second tractor feed for continuous forms. In fast draft mode, print at supersonic speeds up to 510 characters per second (cps). The paper feed rate tops out at an astounding 7 inches per second.

The 2480 can handle single and multiple part cut forms 11.7 inches wide and single and multiple part continuous forms at 10 inches wide. Plus, 9.5 inches wide envelopes can also be fed through the 2480. Also, the printer features four forms macros, allowing you to preset up to four forms settings and select between them at the touch of a button. All of this is done with amazing print quality. Resolution reaches 144 x 240 dpi. The 2480 is also reliable and quiet. Its MTBF runs at 12,500 Power On Hours. The noise level reaches only 53 DBA.
